WEEK 5 - 02/01/2010 - Bobby Burns

  This weeks Splattered!@%#! Q & A is with Soulfly bassist and Primer 55 founder Bobby Burns. Me and Bobby go way back. Some of you out there will know we attended high school together. Bobby was one of several that wanted to make a career in the music business back in the day and he is about the only one who actually did!

  The thing about Bobby though, is deep down, whether you loved him or hated him, you knew he was one of those cat's that would make it. You knew he had it in him. Now, I did have other friends I thought would make it too, but that's a whole other story and the fact here is....Bobby DID.

  It's about drive. It's about dedication. It's about a goal and in the end, it may end up being a little about location if you want to farther yourself in what it is you want to do, but location plays no part in the beginning. Mr. Burns went to West Hardin & Central Hardin High School in Hardin County, Ky and now plays bass in a Metal band known as Soulfly, with a Respected Metal Legend, known as Max Cavalera, from Brazil. He has toured the world over, seen the site's, seen the crowds, seen the countries and calls music his way of making a living and calls music his way of living life.

  And now....we call him Splattered!@%#! because in Week 5 of 2010, Bobby Burns is our Splattered!@%#! Q & A! Who's next? Who Knows....Could be anybody......Hell, it might be YOU!
