SplatterTribe:
Introduce yourself, tell us where you're from and compare yourself
to some sort of transportation and why you are that
transportation!
Delivery:
I go by Delivery, my nickname is The Beast, if I were to compare
myself to any means of transpo, it's be a
G5 jet
because I'm not just fly, I'm outta you're league fly.
(Tribe Note: See, I'd
compare myself to a
Blimp because when I fly by everybody comes out
of buildings, stares, points, takes pictures and wonders why the hell I'm even
there!)

SplatterTribe:
So what is the difference between a
Hip Hop Artist and a Rapper?
Delivery:
A hip hop
artist is one who respects the craft, is well knowledged in the history
of the game, makes music reflecting it and is not in it for a hustle,
whereas a rapper, is just a guy who writes down lyrics with no in depth
thought or meaning behind the words and is in it purely for financial
gain and not for the love.
SplatterTribe:
If you were going to
explain to someone what your music
style is, how would you describe it? |
 |
Delivery:
My style is a combination
of east and south coast styles, it blends story telling, metaphors, and
punchlines, and flows as well.
SplatterTribe: So how many cd release's do you have? Tell us a little about each.
Delivery:
I have a total of 6
volumes of work out right now:
Part 1: The Quest Storm released March of 2006
Part 2: The Hostile Takeover released July of 2006
Part 3: The Dark Side released May of 2007
Emergency Broadcast, my first original album, released Sept of 2007
This Is What I Do Vol 1. released April of 2008
This Is What I Do Vol. 2 released Sept of 2008
SplatterTribe:
How many jams can you throw out in a week
start to finish?
Delivery:
it depends because I
don't rush records, I take my time writing them and let the words come naturally
so it would probably be a low number because I'm more about quality than
quantity.
SplatterTribe:
What's your definition of Entertainment?
Delivery:
being able to do the
form of music that you prefer the way you want to do it and having the people
enjoy it for what it is and not conforming.
(Tribe
Note: Hell Yeah! Down with conformity!!)
SplatterTribe:
If you were to start your own Delivery Music
Hall of Fame, who would be your first 5 nominees?
Delivery:
Are we talkin' my songs or
artists I admire?
(Tribe Note: Uhm...Well....
I would have thought the whole 'who' aspect of the question would have been a
dead give away. But then again, A Chinese lady once told me I was an
owl in a past life. So I can understand
the confusion because it could have very well been a flashback)

 |
SplatterTribe:
How did you get the name Delivery?
Delivery:
I gave the name to
myself because of the actual meaning of the word, to deliver, or bring something
to the table, and I feel like I do that musically, I bring somethin' to the
table, never empty handed.
SplatterTribe:
Can you freestyle a rhyme right now about
whatever comes to mind when thinking of the words SplatterTribe?
Delivery:
probably, id have to try
and do it without cursing tho lol
|
SplatterTribe:
Can you make a sentence out of the following
words or phrases?
cell phone
heater
light bulb
papers
Splatter
Delivery:
I am never with my shitty T
Mobile cell phone.
At night I have a space
heater
next to my bed cuz I stay cold.
I would say speaking
negative about me musically is like touching a hot
light bulb, I'll burn you.
I'm very business minded and you better come correct with legal
papers.
Splatter is a
funny word cuz I use it to describe nasty sexual things with girls lol.
(Tribe Note: You know, normally that
question is asked in the sense of combining all those words into one sentence
and I have trouble getting people to do that. Then Delivery goes and not only
makes the effort to answer this question, but he makes a separate sentence for
each word. I think that is completely Awesome!)
SplatterTribe:
Is there anything in your listening catalog
that would probably surprise people who know you?
Delivery:
I own a
Christina Aguilera
album lol
SplatterTribe:
Ok we are going to see if you truly
are..........Smarter than a 5th grader! No cheating & if you do you must admit
to how you cheated. Here's a 5th grade science question.
Sterling
silver is a combination of silver and copper. Which of the following is also a
combination of two or more metals?
A) aluminum
B) lead
C) gold
D) brass
Delivery:
I don't answer
textbook questions lol
(Tribe Note: Hey I just thought of a rhyme. D to
the E to the L tt-tt-tt-to the I-V, E to the R to the Y to the G...E...D. I
don't know where you are, or where you may be at, but you should
ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-check in-to that! Delivery my man, I'm sorry to have to say
it, but You Are NOT Smarter Than a 5th Grader!)
SplatterTribe:
What would you do if you were standing in line at
a gas station and the dude in front of you, who kind of looked at
you funny when you walked in, dropped (reply to each one)
Delivery:
a)
A lottery ticket that had 3 $10,000's on it
-I'd steal it
b)
A delivery cd
-I'd say oh shit he
knows me lol
c)A Delivery cd with a big red heart & a bunch of little
hearts drawn on the cover
-He likes me a bit

SplatterTribe:

Like bicycle cops with quota's
Their
bike'll never catch mine
Alright, alright, I know my skills are a little lacking, but that's why I do the
