---SplatterTribe: The last time we spoke, I asked, "Tell us a little about the films you have been involved with." Can you update us on some of your goings on since then...
Julie Anne:
Since we last talked there have been a couple developments with a few of my previous films. My first film Slices is available on Netflix and Amazon. The Uh Oh Show just came out on DVD, 2:22 is available on DVD and Hulu, and Spare the Rod has limited distribution.
Parasitic , As Night Falls, Doomsday County, Wayward, and Caged Dreams all had premiers in the past year or so, and will all be available soon as well.
Zellwood, House of Blood, and No Strings 2 will be premiering this fall. I also just completed a film called Kandie Land with Ari Lehman, out in Ohio. That was a really fun time, and I had a great death!!
I have a few films in post that should be coming through soon such as Night People, where I play the lead Hooker/Vampire. I also do some sword fighting in that one, it’s a really fun film, so I am hoping to see it get finished.
I did some more mainstream work as well on Rock of Ages and a commercial for the MTV VMA Awards. It was just featured extra work, but it was really fun to do!
I had a few television appearances since we talked last. I was on All Worked Up, and Dr. G: Medical Examiner. I will actually be on Dr. G: Medical Examiner again this month, in an episode titled Painkillers.
I am involved in a bunch of new projects currently, and we begin filming three of them this month!
Dead Buzz, directed by SFX badass Johnny Brajdic.
Two Days, by Italian director Romano Scavolini.
A film for the Syfy channel, which will premiere around Halloween.
Disciples, directed by Joe Hollow, which has a hugely all star cast attached!
I also have several advertisement, video, and behind the scenes projects and appearances planned involving all of this current work.
As for upcoming films, I have a few I am on board for that will be filming soon such as, Idiot Gore, Axe to Grind, Chainsaw Maidens from Hell, and Mountain of the Flesheaters. Hoping to see all of these upcoming films become a reality, but I’m very excited with the progress on the ones that are coming through currently!

--in ghosts? Yes, I’ve seen a few. I have a very interesting story involving The Belleview Biltmore Hotel on the night before it closed for renovations.
--in UFOs? Yes. My other car is…
--in conspiracy theories? Is this one?
--in Sasquatch? I saw one “dancing” with Bill Johnson at a party Joel Robinson threw!

--in the chupacabra?Yes, and I’d like one for a pet.
--that the world will end in 2012? No, we aren’t going to know when it will end. Sorry, we aren’t that cool.

--in miracles? Everything happens for a reason. Miracles are just things happening for a reason that ended up working in your favor.
--in magic? No, just being bamboozled.
--in Karma? Yes, 100%!

--in reincarnation?Yes, I want to be a honey badger next time.
--that dreams mean something? Yes, it’s based on your sub conscious, and several determining factors, such as diet, and if you left your tv on. I had a dream about volcanoes and earthquakes the other night because the science channel was left on.
--in fate? I believe we all meet a fate, but it is set in motion by our actions, and again, happens for a reason. I don’t believe we really have our lives written out somewhere and ultimately decided, but what you do decides, and it can decide it well into the future.
--that R. Kelly could really fly? If he used pee as fuel, possibly.
--that reality shows are really real? Nope, I was on one ;)
--in world peace? Nope. We are all too selfish.
--everything happens for a reason? Yes, think I covered that ahahah!
--in déjà vu? I believe stuff that you were supposed to learn repeats in various ways until you accomplish what you were meant to. This may be from a previous life, or from last week.
--in the butterfly effect? Yes, certain aspects of it. Not the movie though, ahahaha.
SplatterTribe: I also asked you for a good, random question to ask the next Miss and your question was... -What made you want to entertain?- Now, I ask you the same question...
Julie Anne: I started out performing very young, doing neighborhood dance/stage shows. Around the same time I started writing sequels to my favorite horror films, and getting my friends and classmates involved. I always wanted to perform, create, and share art, I just wasn’t exactly sure which road to take in my pursuit. I ended up doing a bunch of alternative modeling, which led me to spokesmodeling, and stage shows, and then finally acting. I’m going back to writing presently, but also sticking with the acting. I actually have my first script being reviewed in a week, and then it will go into pre-production. To me, that will be the ultimate contribution, to entertain through a written story, as well as the visual performance.
Splattertribe:
I see you study Crime Scene Technology, what avenue would you like to go with it and does it help with the roles you play in movies?
Julie Anne: I am going back to continue a Crime Scene Technician program. It does help a little, to have some understanding based on reality. It depends on the film though of course. I think it might help someone in makeup, or someone planning out set design, props, wardrobe, and camera angles more than an actor though. Unless you are actually playing an officer.

Tell me a secret you have never told anyone before...
Julie Anne: If I told you it would be public knowledge!

What percentage of your life is the following ratings?
When you're feeling nostalgic, what do you think about and/or what do you do?
Julie Anne:I have a trunk full of old pictures. I listen to music, sometimes I go visit places that have meaning to me. Smells make me feel nostalgic as well.
SplatterTribe: When you want to forget about everything, what is your drink of choice in a private situation and in a public situation?
Julie Anne: It doesn’t matter, I drink whenever, wherever. What do you have?

---Well, since the
last NEWS UPDATE, we have had 3 Video's Of The Week.
First was a Direct-To-Tape RAW/LIVE, In the Basement Demo
Recording of a NEW song of mine called No, No, No,
No, No (Naw, Naw, Naw). I will be recording an EP called
The Kamikaze K'untry Punk Tapes very soon and this is
one song that will be included in the EP. It was Video
Of The Week for September 2nd-September 9th. BTW, my
music is a separate entity from SplatterTribe.TV and also
there is a few f-bombs for those who are offended by those
type of things. It's REAL though, so give it a chance. The
EP will actually have 2 version ( just because, you know...
)
Next up was Alan Jackson's 'Where Were You
(When The World Stopped Turning)' That was, of course in
honor of the victims from 9/11 and every soldier lost since
then. This years anniversary hit me pretty hard as I spent
the day watching tributes until I had to get away from the
television. To cheer up, I went and visited my 95 year old
grandmother and enjoyed the visit. People, don't ever forget
that event. No matter what you believe don't ever forget how
that event made you feel. It was wrong and will never be
understood. I say that on September 21st just as easy as
September 11. NEVER FORGOTTEN. This was Video of The
Week for September 9th-September 16th.
Now onto this week Video Of The Week. In
honor of The Band Of Heathens feature in the new
