---Back
again, I want to start out by saying to all of those
on the East coast that lost their homes,
you are
in our thoughts. I read where former
Skid
Row
vocalist
Sebastian
Bach
lost his
home from the flood that
Hurricane
Irene
caused
in New Jersey. I hate to hear that, as he lost all of
his
KISS
memorabilia
that he has collected through his life, as well as,
Skid
Row
memorabilia
and masters. Yes, I am a Classic
Skid
Row
fan! I
interviewed
Sebastian
years
ago for a Indie-Mag I once put out called
The
S.C.C.A.M.
Recently
when I was going through some old boxes, I found a
copy of that issue and I am planning on running that
interview soon, as an
Out-Of-The-Box
Classic, same as I did my
Nikki
Sixx
Interview
last year. So
Sebastian
is
officially a
SplatterTribe
Alumni
and with
that, I want to wish him well on dealing with the
aftermath of losing his home and possessions. ALSO,
speaking of
The
S.C.C.A.M., there will be more on that magazine
in the next part of
SplatterTribe
History,
COMING
SOON!
---All
of
Sebastian's
loss'
were
only
material,
though,
even if
they
were
collectables.
A lot of
people
lost a
lot of
things,
but
there
were
many
injuries
and were
dozens
of lives
lost
from the
entire
ordeal,
so no
matter
what, it
can
always
be
worse...
---Another
SplatterTribe.TV
Alumni,
Bonnie

a
classic,

-How's it goin'?
OK, so I mentioned
earlier in the week
that I would put up
a new interview with
a local band this
week and, well,
obviously that did
not happen.
There were some
issues with getting
that posted, so it
didn’t happen. There
are going to be some
pretty cool
interviews posted
next week though and
I think they’ll more
than make up for it.
We’ll start the week
with the Interview I
recently conducted
with
Munky (Korn).
Part of this
interview appeared
in the first issue
of the NEW
Newsletter
‘The Tribe’,
which was released
on
August 1st.
We will then move on
to my in-depth
interview with ‘Kentucky
Headhunters’
guitarist and
songwriter
Richard Young,
which was also
partially featured
in
‘The Tribe’
as well.
-
I mentioned a few
weeks ago that if
someone wanted a
copy of ‘The Tribe’
mailed to their home
all they has to do
is email their
address to me and I
would send it out
FREE OF CHARGE.
Well, I ended up
with quite a few
more requests than I
expected. That is
ALWAYS good, but I
had to eat the costs
pretty bad. So I’m
gonna have to change
the game a bit next
time. It is a FREE
Newsletter, but I
ask that if you
would like a copy
mailed to your home,
to PLEASE send me a
Self Addressed
Stamped Envelope (S.A.S.E.)
to:
SplatterTribe
Entertainment
P.O. Box 6354
Elizabethtown, KY
42702
I really appreciate
those that request a
copy and those
sending the
S.A.S.E.'s. The
newsletter is done
on a budget and I do
want it out there
and I want it to
grow with each
issue. I will do
some things to make
it worth your while
though. I'm working
on an idea or two
but I can say now
that anyone that
sends a S.A.S.E will
automatically be
entered in whatever
contest that that
particular issue
includes, as well as
entered into our
SplatterTribe.TV
Contests that
I will soon be
speaking more about.
PLUS, you get your
very own copy of the
coolest NEW
Newsletter that
there is, the one,
the only, ‘The
Tribe’
Newsletter.
ALSO, you will
RULE and you KNOW
you WANT TO RULE!
-I’m working on
what will be in the
next Newsletter now,
as there is a lot of
things that need to
be covered in the
issue. If you or
someone you know
would be interested
in very low rate
ads, hit me up.
There is also a
section for
classified style ads
as well. For more
details email me at
primal@splattertribe.tv.
You can find out
more on ‘The
Tribe’
HERE.
-Getting things
worked out for the
NEW Video program
that will change
things around the
site. I promise
there will be more
on that soon.
-You know, there
are the haters out
there, but I
personally want to
say Rest In Peace to
former Warrant
vocalist Jani Lane.
I met Jani a couple
of times and he was
nothing but cool
when I did. I
remember several
years ago, a buddy
and I ran into him
in a club parking
lot and my buddy
pulled out a one
hundred dollar bill
and asked Jani to
sign it (Dirty,
Rotten, Filthy,
Stinkin’, Rich,
right?). He then
gave my buddy a
weird ass look and
looked back down at
the hundred. The
look was part, “Are
you serious?” And
part, “How about you
just give me this
$100 and we call you
a fan?” This was
years after
Warrant’s heyday and
during a slow period
for nostalgia, so
the dude may have
really wanted (or
needed) that
hundred, who knows?
Here’s the thing
though, how many
people have had some
anonymous dude walk
up and ask them to
sign a hundred
dollar bill? Chances
are, not very many.
Jani fought his
demons and seemed
like he had trouble
dealing with the
downside of fame,
but if these guys
could just think
about situations
like that, you know?
If someone asks you
to sign a $100
dollar bill, you
made an impact in
their life. These
artists reach so
many people when
they are at their
peak, that I think
they lose sight to
the fact that even
when the big crowds
disappear, there are
some people out
there that have had
their lives directly
impacted by you and
your music, you
know? You have to
remember the
individuals and not
the crowds. I’m sure
that is hard. I
mean, Jani’s
situation isn’t that
much different from
many, many others
before him or after
him, but it’s just a
shame when artists
can’t keep that
idea. The thing is,
I bet the dude had
no idea how
widespread the news
of his death would
even be. Rest In
Peace Dude…
-You know,
Warrant did an album
called Dog Eat Dog
that was their first
‘flop’, but it had
some of their best
songs. It was
recorded at the
infamous
Morrisound
Recordings
studio in Tampa,
Florida that is and
was famous for
Thrash/Death Metal
recordings. There
were a couple of
songs that I really
dig on that album
and in memory of Mr
Lane, one of those
songs will be this
week’s Video Of
The Week. That
song is ‘April
2031’. The video
is a YouTube user
created video. The
band never released
a video for the
song. Check it out
below though.
-BTW, who's going
to be Miss
September? Any
idea's? Send
nominations to
tribe@splattertribe.tv!
-Check back
tomorrow for my
interview with Munky
from KORN in it's
entirety and stay
tuned for the
Richard Young
interview!
-For the Locals:
My old friends in
the Death Metal band
Abominant will be
appearing on Locals
Only TONIGHT on
107.3 The Point...

I
will be
getting
a page
up soon
that
will
feature
all the
info you
need to
know
about
these
business'.
I do
want to
say that
I
appreciate
each and
every
one of
them
like I
can't
explain.
Thanks a
million
for
helping
in the
cause.
If there
are any
businesses
out
there
that are
carrying
the
Newsletter
and are
not on
this
list,
please
make me
aware of
the
fact!
I
also
want to
address
the
situation
of me
stating
that if
someone
wanted a
copy
mailed
to them,
hit me
up and
I'll
send it
out for
FREE.
Well, I
had no
idea how
many
requests
I would
get and
it has
been a
bit
overwhelming.
I had A
LOT more
requests
than I
anticipated.
Due to
this
reason,
I have
yet to
get them
all
mailed
out.
This
WILL BE
DONE the
first of
the
week.
Also,
since
things
didn't
go as
smooth
as was
anticipated,
every
person
that has
requested
a mailed
copy
will
AUTOMATICALLY
be
entered
in the
contest
for
Nikki
Sixx's
new book
'This
Is Gonna
Hurt',
the
Kentucky
Headhunters
and
Munky
from
Korn's
autographs
and the
CASH
prize!
Thanks
for your
patience
with
this!
I
mentioned
before
that
we're
gonna be
having a
video
program
coming
soon.
The
idea is
a 30
minute
regularly
scheduled
program
featuring
live
music
and
interviews.
I don't
want to
jump the
gun, but
I was
talking
with
someone
the
other
day and
there
may be a
partnership
involved
in the
program.
Expect
the show
to debut
in
October
or
November
and
expect
the
format
and
layout
around
the
website
to
change a
bit
along
with
this new
venture.
Things
will
indeed
be
freshened
up a
bit.
This
will be
cool!
Got
asked by
Axe from
Central
Kentucky's
Rock
Station
107-3
The
Point to
come
into the
studio
and do
an
interview
and play
a couple
of
acoustic
songs.
This
was on
short,
short
notice,
but I
made it
in and
got it
done. I
played
my songs
'Rusty
Fences'
and
'I
Sure
Hope
(Somebody
Likes
This
Song)'
and got
to talk
a little
about
songwriting,
The
Tribe
Newsletter
and
SplatterTribe
in
general.
It was a
cool
experience
that
took me
out of
my
element.
I hope
those
that
heard it
where at
least a
little
bit
entertained...
It was
short
notice
and may
not have
been
perfect,
but it
was what
it was!
Who
knows, I
may
stream
it on
the site
soon,
just for
the heck
of it.
So I
didn't
get any
new
interviews
up this
past
week,
chalk
that up
to the
release
of The
Tribe
Newsletter
and
other
Tribe
business.
I
have a
interview
with a
cool,
local
group
that I
have to
finish
transcribing.
Their
interview
should
be
posted
by
Wednesday,
so keep
checking
back to
see who
it is
with.
Their a
pretty
cool,
talented
group.
Did
you
check
out Miss
August
Kirsty
Lingman
yet?
Speaking
of
Miss', I
have had
several
people
complain
recently
about
not
having a
page
devoted
to ALL
the
Miss' we
have had
here at
the
Tribe.
Well,
problem
solved!
Check
out each
and
every
Miss
that has
been
featured
on the
website
(including
Kirsty)
at this
LINK.
I was
trying
to
decide a
good
Video Of
The Week
for this
week.
Since
Miss
August
Kirsty
Lingman
was in
the
video,
and
since
their
bassist
wore an
'I'm
Splattered'
SplatterTribe.TV
sticker
on his
chest in
front of
10's of
thousands

Rock On
The
Range,
I think
am gonna
go with
a song
that has
been out
for a
bit, but
has
never
been the
Video
Of The
Week.
That
song is
My
Darkest
Days
'Porn
Star
Dancing'.
Check
the
video
out
below.
Next
Monday
Korn and
The
Kentucky
Headhunters
are
coming
to The
Tribe.
I know
things
have
been
slow on
here
over the
past
couple
of weeks
because
of The
Tribe
Newsletter
and
such,
but it
will be
picking
up in
the next
week.
I
WILL be
back in
a couple
of days!

I wanted to update everyone on where they can pick

that the newsletter has been placed, that are not
yet listed, but I do not know all of that
information right now.
ALSO, if you want a copy mailed to you, send your
address to
primal@splattertribe.tv and as always, if you
know a good business that will let me set the
newsletter out at it's establishment, drop me a line
at the same email. The current list of business',
